Optimising return on alternative fuels production can rest on the appropriate and efficient use of additives. Cold flow properties can be modified and oxidation stability increased significantly if appropriate additive packages are used. As the vast majority of alternative fuels are blends with traditional mineral oil stocks, the use of additives and control of the blending process is a key part of the overall value realisation. |
